Twila C. Diamond passed into her rightful place in Heaven on April 20, 2014. Twila was a Phoenix native who attended North High School and Phoenix College. Twila lived in Scottsdale for the past 53 years, where she worked for Motorola and the Salt River Project before retirement. Twila was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff, whom she loved and dearly missed throughout her life. Twila was a great mother to her three children, Cliff, Allen and David and their beautiful wives, Leslie, Diane and Bonnie, six grandchildren, Scott, Steffenie, Laura, Catherine, Chad and Christina and eight great-grandchildren, Jade, Hunter, Isaac, Paige, Soffiya, Parker, Hattie, and Garin. Her love and kindness spoiled every one of them, but she wouldn’t have had it any other way. Twila taught each the value of giving, kindness to others, and the value of family. Her kindness extended to others around her. Twila was quick to help those in need and was always concerned about the wellbeing of those around her and in her life encounters. Twila had a quick and quirky sense of humor that made every day an adventure, and never allowed a dull moment. When she moved into the Springs of Scottsdale she fit in quickly, and was blessed with new friendships adding to the treasured ones she has kept throughout her life.
Services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 at Messinger Indian School Mortuary and Chapel, 7601 E. Indian School Road. The visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a celebration of her life to follow at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow. A family graveside service and internment will take place on Saturday April 26, 2014 at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul or Hospice of the Valley.
