Josephine "Jo or Jody" Willis Eaton 91, went to be with her Lord on January 12, 2008. She was born in Hinsdale, IL in December 1916. She married Edward W Eaton in June of 1939, after WWII they settled in the Indianapolis area. She enjoyed being a homemaker kept busy with raising five children. She loved life, laughter, games, outdoor activities, symphony, theater and travel. Her love of God kept her very involved at St. Paul's Episcopal Church where she served on several guilds and committees. She was involved with the Art Museum. As a direct descendant of George Washington's brother, John Augustine Washington, she supported the Mount Vernon Ladies' Association. She is survived by Edward; her five children; Gail Thies (Walter), Carol August (Ronald - deceased), Edward "Hap" Eaton Jr. (Diane), Jane Martin (Dale), John Eaton (Christine); 9 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Her three siblings preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be given to The Memorial Fund of St. Paul's Episcopal Church or to the donor's favorite charity. Viewing will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2008 from 4-8 p.m. at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center- Broad Ripple. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2008 at St Paul's Episcopal Church, 6050 North Meridian Street, Indianapolis, IN.
