She married Adolf / Adolph Bergt on Dec 25, 1944, at Immanuel Lutheran Church near Beemer, Nebraska. The couple lived north of Wisner. After the death of her husband in 1967, she worked as a cook at Colonial Haven Nursing Home in Beemer.
She was survived by 1 son and his wife, 5 brothers, 2 sisters, 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one stepson and one stepdaughter-in-law.
