Marguerite Bush age 89, formerly of Silver Springs, NY, died March 29, 2014 at the Batavia Health Care Center.
Peg was born June 22, 1924 in Silver Springs, daughter of the late Melvin and Marguerite Farnsworth Caryl.
She worked for over 35 years at Morton Salt Company. Peg was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church and the Altar & Rosary Society of the church in Silver Springs. She was an avid reader and enjoyed all kinds of crafts.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roger Bush who died in 1951. Surviving are her son, Duane Bush of East Bethany; her grandchildren, Philip (Christie) Bush of Rome, NY, Darrin (Tonya) Bush of Perry, Eric (Leanna Elliott) Bush of Derby; her grandchildren, Evan, Andie, Caitlin, Alexis, Donovan and Rylee Bush, a brother, Robert (June) Caryl of Silver Springs, a sister, Dawn Caryl of Batavia; her sister-in-law, Gertrude Caryl of Silver Springs; her brother-in-law, Larry Halstead of Perry; nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Willis Caryl, Richard Caryl, Carolyn Caryl and Marcella Halstead.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Isidore's Parish, St. Mary's Church site with burial in the church cemetery.
