Donald "Don" Anthony Dragosh was born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Albert and Theresa Simonich Dragosh. He graduated in 1964 from Bishop Ward High School. Following graduation, he earned his MBA at Kansas University and remained an avid Jayhawks fan. He worked at United Telecom, then for 21 years at Sprint from its inception. After his retirement, he did volunteer work for various organizations. His greatest passion was for the beauty of nature. Don served in the military during the Vietnam conflict.


Don passed away from cancer at his home in Overland Park. He left two sisters and their spouses, as well as nieces, nephews and their children. Private memorial services were held for family and friends. His good friends, Mike and John, arranged a Memorial Mass that was said for Don for all his friends in Palm Springs, California.
