Lower Couple Die
Isaiah W. Lower, aged 76; a native of Heshbon, Indiana county, died March 4 at his home in Medical Lake, Wash., and his wife, Mrs. Jennie V. Mack Lower, expired nine days later at the Lower home. Mr. Lower's death was due to dropsy and heart disease, and his wife's death was attributed to heart diseases and congestion of the lungs. Her death also was due in part to the shock brought about by the death of Mr. Lower.

The lower family lived on their farm near Heshbon until 24 years ago when they moved to Washington. Mr. Lower operated a farm at Haukon for some years and retired -4 years ago. Five years ago the Lowere family moved to Medical Lake. Three daughters survive - Mrs. F.W. Hageman and Mrs. D.E. Brendlinger, both of Waukon, Wash., and Mrs. C.T. Welpert of Los Angeles. One granddaughter, Miss Thelma Hageman, also survives.

Isaiah Lower was a brother of Mrs. Michael Mack, Robinson, Pa., and Mrs. Lower was a sister of Jacob V. Mack, Hugh S. Mack and Michael Mack, Robinson; John Mack, California, and Mrs. Lydia Jamison, Indiana Harbor, Ind.

Funeral services were conducted in the Methodist church of Medical Lake, of which Mr. and Mrs. Lower were members. Burial took place in the Greenwood cemetery at Spokane, Wash.
