He was one of seven children (three sons, four daughters) born to James and Lula Garris Little. He was the owner of George's Dinette in Hamlet for many years and owned the Little Bo Steak House in Rockingham. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by a daughter, and two sons; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, and his loyal canine companion, Molly. Mr. Little was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Little in 2001; sisters, Betty Lou Garris and Sarah Everhart; and brothers, Woodrow Little and William Little.
