William Kerry Moore, age 49, of 20 Hillside Drive, Cartersville, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2003 at a local hospital following injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Mr. Moore was born November 17, 1953 in Gordon County, Georgia son of Jackie Smith Moore and the late Toby Moore. He was employed by American Water Assoc. and was a member of the Atco Baptist Church. He was a member of Emerson Masonic Lodge #738 F. & A.M. and was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife; Angela Boss Moore of Cartersville; a son; Gavin Brion Moore of Cartersville; Mother & Step-Father; Jackie & Ray Williams of Dallas, Ga.; a brother; Kyle Moore of Rome, Ga.; 2 sisters; Keely Kilpatrick of Fultondale, Ala. and Kandi Shinall of Cartersville; 15 nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon October 7, 2003 at
3:00 PM at the Atco Baptist Church with Dr. Wayne Hamrick and Dr. Carl Billue officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery with Emerson Masonic Lodge #738 F. & A.M. in charge of Masonic graveside rites and Carl Boyd Post #42 American Legion in charge of Military graveside rites.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and at other hours will be at the residence,
20 Hillside Drive.
Pallbearers are asked to meet at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home on Tuesday at 1:45 PM and include Colby Evans, Nick Wade, Tyler Boss, Rick Townsend, Ricky Cagle, Brooks Gayton, Ted Lipscomb and Malcolm Boss. Honorary pallbearers include Ghost John Booker, Lowry Hamilton, Denver Avis, J.P. Akins, John “Fuzz” Parker, Jimmy Fox, Robert Davis and the Hellions Bike Club.
