On May 21, 1894, Frank arrived at Quebec, Canada from Liverpool, England, on S.S. Mongolian with brothers, Alfred, Arthur & Sidney. Frank was 16 years old. His mother had died in 1892 & Frank and younger brothers went to Canada to live with family there. His youngest brother, Sidney was 6 years old, Arthur was 8 and Alfred was 11.
At age 23, On Mar. 27, 1901, Frank married Rachael Rebecca Boake in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. Frank worked as a farm laborer. To this union was born 6 children. The 5th born child, Ivan Charles, was born in 1909 and died the following year in 1910. Their last child, Audrey was born in 1913.
Feb. 1, 1916 we find a Military Record for Frank. The record states Canadian Expeditionary Force, 127th Rangers. He is described as 5' 5 1/2" tall, with blue eyes and dark brown hair, Religion - Methodist.
Frank's beloved wife, Rebecca died in 1938. He married for the 2nd time on Aug. 16, 1941 to Sarah Emily Shipton. Frank was now 64 years old. He and Emily married at the Church of St. Edmund the Martyr in Toronto, Canada. The Marriage Ceremony was conducted by Rev. R.S. Toppett. Unfortunately Emily died in 1955, leaving Frank a widower for the 2nd time. He lived for 10 more years.
Frank crossed over into Eternity at age 88,on July 10, 1965 in King City, Ontario, Canada. He was laid to rest in the King City Cemetery.
