Richard Earl Blanchard, 53, of Rosemond, Calif., died of heart failure, Saturday, Oct 13, 2001
He was born Nov 5, 1947 in Dayton Tx, to Lawrence Joseph
and Gean(Moor) Blanchard

Dad was an awesome guy. He was a jack of many talents. He could cook, draw, fix anything, cut hair, you name it. He enjoyed playing pool, fishing, sun tanning by the pool, gardening, taking walks to the park or beach, going to the movies and visiting with family & friends. He also liked hot rods and motorcycles. His home was always imacculate. His hair always perfect.

He had a soft spot for animals too. He'd occasionally bring home strays for his young children to love on, which we really did burst with excitement.

He left behind 3 children: Richard, Tonya and Ryan; 7 grandchildren; brother/best friend Jessie; 2 stepsisters Marsha and Elaine; 1/2 brother Martin; his long time love Kathy ; numerous friends / extended family, and his beloved dog, a black Labrador Retriever named Ruby.

Pace-Stencil Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas was in charge of arrangements, with Rev. Vernon Parsons officiating
funeral services at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Raywood, Texas.
