Word was received Monday by Mrs Daniel Hathaway of the death of her brother, James Aldred of Flint, Michigan. Mr Aldred had left his home to go to his work when stricken with a heart attack from which he did not recover.
The deceased was 42 years of age and is survived by two daughters, Wyvetta and Lorain and the following sisters and brothers, Mrs Edna Daley of Warren, Mrs Evelyn McConnell of Waynesburg, Mrs Elizabeth Patrick and Mrs Dolly Baxter, both of Amsterdam and Mrs Christiana Hathaway of Carrollton and Jerry and Earl Aldred of Flint, Mich.
The body arrived at Amsterdam Friday and services will be held from the Sweeney Funeral Home at 2 P M. Burial will be in the Amsterdam cemetery.
