Mrs. Josephine B. Silbersack, 59, of 1020 S. 17th St., Manitowoc, died at 3 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient six weeks.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. John S. Landowski will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
The former Josephine Novak was born Feb. 27, 1906, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late John and Mary Poklinkowski Novak. She always lived in Manitowoc County and was married to Walter Silbersack April 21, 1933. He died Jan. 31, 1958. Mrs. Silbersack was a member of the Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 76.
Surviving her are four daughters, Mrs. Robert Karbowski of Two Rivers and Mrs. Gilbert Gleichner, Mrs. Marie Knauer and Miss Alice Silbersack, of Manitowoc, a son, George Silbersack, of Lincoln, Nebr., two brothers, Edwin Novak, of Carson City, Nev., and Alois Novak, of Manitowoc, two sisters, Mrs. Leo Schmidt and Mrs. Martha Toston, of Manitowoc, 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where the Eagles Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. and the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
