Amber R. Rhodes, 17, a senior at Thunderbird High School, died January 1, 2006. She was born in Phoenix on January 23, 1988. Amber is survived by her mother, Kim Nielsen, her father, Stuart Rhodes, brothers, Mark and Miles Rhodes, sister, Melody Diaz, grandparents, Kurt and Renate Nielsen and JW and Donna Rhodes, step-father, John Kandel, step-mother, Linda Jacobs, Aunt and Uncle, Kirsten and Steve McDonald, cousin, Skyler McDonald, Terri and John Nelson of CA.; also countless schoolmates and friends from Thunderbird High and Washington High. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, January 10th at Phoenix Memorial Mortuary 200 W. Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, AZ. Amber could light up the room with her upbeat, cheery, bubbly personality. We will miss her very much.
