Mrs. Margaret Earley Thompkins, 63, of Washington, D.C., where she had been employed in the goverment offices, died Friday morning.
A former resident here and graduate of Anderson High School, she had visited here frequently. Her husband, Earl B. Thompkins, died in 1955. She was a member of the Methodist Church, and a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star at Washington.
The body is being returned to the Harold E. Hozelle Funeral Home and graveside rites will be conducted Monday at 3 p.m. at the Park Cemetery in Fairmount.
