Barbara A. LeClair, age 54, of 11305 Birch Dr. Two Rivers, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family, Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Aurora Medical Center after a couragous battle with cancer.

Barb was born in Mishicot on January 29, 1957 to the late William and Winifred (Vanderbusch) Bruechert. She attended Mishicot Public Schools, graduating from Mishicot High School with the class of 1975. On March 18, 1978, she married Dennis D. LeClair at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Mishicot. Together, the couple owned & operated Alchemy Machine & Gear LLC for many years; she also worked for Kulpa Fisheries and the Hamilton Memorial Home in Two Rivers. Barb loved the time spent with her family, and was a wonderful grandmother. She enjoyed camping with family and friends, and gardening.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis LeClair; two daughters & a son-in-law, Karen (Nicholas) Wordell, and Joann LeClair & special friend, Shawn Lucas, all of Manitowoc; seven grandchildren, Destiny, Angel & Shamus Wordell; Quintin Klawitter; Ashlynne, Anya & Aidan Iles; and her mother-in-law, Rose LeClair of Two Rivers. She is further survived by three brothers & sisters-in-law, Robert (Ruby) Bruechert, Elko, NV, Jerry (Sue) Bruechert and John (Terri) Bruechert, all of Two Rivers; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law include: Linda LeClair, Allen (Lori) LeClair, Joann (Larry) Raatz, Theresa (Dennis) Elsen, Ann (Dennis) Popelars, Greg (Julie) LeClair, Chris (Kay) LeClair, and Judy (Mark) Nolting; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, David LeClair; one daughter, Misty Ann Iles; and her father-in-law, David LeClair.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 27, 2011 at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 - 18th St. Two Rivers. Rev. David Arndt will officiate at the service, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers. Friends may call at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, from 5:00 until 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening, May 26, 2011, and after 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. The LeClair family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Barylak and all the nurses at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic, and also all the wonderful nurses on the Oncology floor at the Aurora Medical Center for their compassionate care and kindness extended to Barb.
