She was born on October 11, 1936 in Lancaster to the late Jack Reed and Blanche M. Good. She was a graduate of Amanda High School, a member of Fairfield Christian Church and YMCA. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and craft making.
She is survived by two sons, Gary (Deborah) Schooley of Stoutsville, Ohio and Denny (Deborah) Schooley of Ostrander, Ohio; two daughters, Karen (Mike) Strang of Naples, Florida and Julie (George) Barnes of Lancaster, Ohio; six grandchildren, Stacey (Brian) Chaney, Michael (Jyme Beth) Schooley, Michele (Jeremy) Readen, Justin (Erica) Strang, Joshua Schooley, Jacob Schooley and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Samuel Schooley, parents.

Funeral service to be held Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST.,LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Pastor William C. Lavely officiating. Burial to Follow in Amanda Twp. Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be given to the Pcikering House, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
