Buford Durham
Funeral services will be held tomorrow for Buford Ross Durham a local musician who died Monday at the age of 54. A native of Kentucky Durham made his home in Sacramento for the past five years and played guitar and banjo with the Johnny Brazil Combo in various local clubs. He was a member of Sacramento Musicians Union Local 12. He was formerly with the Turk Murphy Band out of San Francisco and was well-known in musicians' circles in Los Angeles and San Luis Obispo. Durham is survived by his mother Mrs Willa Lee Bastion of Wilmington in Southern California, a sister Mrs Doris Whitbeck of Canoga Park, and a niece Jean Baker of Los Angeles. Services will be held at 11."
