CATHERINE RUTH ASHBY, OF Hixson, died on Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, in a local hospital.
A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, Ms. Ashby was a devoted Christian who was charitable in giving to many organizations.
She is survived by her three nephews and three nieces.
A graveside service was held at Forest Hills Cemetery.
