Jean E. Wilson, 80, of 1217 South Main Street, Harrisburg, IL died Sunday May 4, 2014 at 7:05 pm at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado, IL.

Funeral service will be held Thursday May 8, 2014 at 11 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg, IL. Reverend Marlin Otte will officiate.



She was born on July 18, 1933 in London, England to the late Reginald Henry and Violet Alice (Brookes) Brawbridge.



She married Daniel Wilson on November 14, 1953, she was a wonderful loving wife for over 60 years. Even though she moved to the United States when they were married she still loved her homeland of England.



She was a member of the the Harrisburg Christ Lutheran Church until the tornado on February 29, 2012 destroyed it. She loved the church and was very active in it, if there was something that needed to be done there, Jean was the contact person, the church was her life, Jean was a christian lady her whole life.



Her greatest hobby though was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, she loved spending time and sharing her vast knowledge with them.



Jean is survived by her Husband: Daniel Wilson of Harrisburg, IL; 3 Children: Lynn Houston of Harrisburg, IL; Cheryl (Roger) Angelly of Harrisburg, IL and Richard (Dawanna) Wilson of Harco, IL; 10 Grandchildren: Danielle Clark, James Houston, Magan Sepulveda, John (Tracey) Sepulveda, Joe (Rachel) Sepulveda, Gabe (Carly) Angelly, Joe (Ann) Angelly, Katie (Mike) Berry, Haylie Wilson and Dale Wilson; 17 Great Grandchilden: Anfernee Houston, Melena Houston, Brent Lawrence, Kayla Lawrence, Orlando Clark, Kenyon Houston, Lilianna Lawrence, Brielle Sepulveda, Kinsley Angelly, Kayden Angelly, Will Angelly, Bo Cooper, Ben Cooper, Gabby Adams-Berry, Kain Adams-Berry, Kameron Adams-Berry and M.J. Berry.
