He was born in National City and was a field service technician for Cox Communications.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Abbott; son, Joshua Abbott of Chula Vista; stepdaughter, Dominique Rocha of Chula Vista; mother, E. Helen Abbott of National City; sisters, Valerie Greenwood of El Cajon, Renee Ula of San Diego and Karen Taeatafa of National City; and brother, Kenneth Abbott of St. George, Utah.Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. tomorrow, Humphrey Mortuary, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3737 Valley Vista Way, Bonita.
There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. before the services.Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Drive, San Diego.
Donations: A trust fund in Joshua Abbott ' s name has been established at Washington Mutual Bank; donations may be made to any branch.
