June 9 2008 Shirlena "Sherry" Ellen King Rhodes died, Sunday, June 8, 2008 in Clay Co, WV. She valued God, her family, her pets, and her Clay County farm. She was a Christian and looked forward to going home. Sherry was preceded in death by her son Samuel Jay Rhodes, father Samuel King, and brother Daniel King. Sherry is survived by her husband Donnie W. Rhodes, daughter Cherry Rhodes and husband Robert Martin, daughter-in-law Kimberly Rhodes, mother Thelma Givens King and three grandson, Jesse Rhodes, Cristopher and Samuel Martin . Sherry will be cremated and there will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kanawha Hospice Care, Inc, 1143 Dunbar Ave, Dunbar, WV 25064.
