David J age 46 of 1207 Park Avenue in Windber died 6-7-2001 @ Windber Medical Center. He was born 3-19-1955 in Windber the son of Anthony J. Jr. and Mildred (Rillo) Rizzo. Preceded in death by father and infant brother Joseph. Loving husband of 24 years to the former Norma Hoffman. Loving father to Jeanna in Pittsburgh and Nicholas @ home. Loving brother to Dominick married to the former Laura Dupre in Seven Springs, Anthony J. Jr. married to the former Lynda Hornick in Johnstown, and Marie wife of Anthony Chippie in Windber. Also -survived by: in-laws William and Janet Hoffman in Windber, Brother-in-law of James married to the former Suzy Matsko and Dennis married to the former Deanna Good both in Windber. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews an many close friends. Mr. Rizzo was a 1973 graduate of Windber Area High Scchool and a 1977 graduate of Susquehanna University. Co-owner/operator of Rizzo's Restaurant in Windber. Lifelong Pitt fan and was a very avid Windber Ramblers sports supporter. He was an avid golfer and reader. Served as a guest teacher with Junior Achievement for many years @ Windber Area High School. Member of: advisory board of Ameriserv Bank, Ken Lantzy Game site committee, Windber Football Boosters, Pitt Golden Panther Club, and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Windber where a funeral Mass was celebrated. Commìttal was @ All Faiths Chapel and Mausoleum in Windber.
