Mr. Olp was born Dec. 17, 1893, at the town of Maple Grove, son of the late Anton and Albertine Engelbrecht Olp. He married Freida Bubolz Nov. 30, 1933 at Reedsville. He was a veteran of World War I. Mr. Olp farmed in the town of Brillion and was a carpenter most of his life. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Brillion, past trustee of Trinity Lutheran School, and a member of Becker Bloedorn Jensen Legion Post No 126 of Brillion.
Survivors include his wife, Freida; a son, Karl of Manitowoc; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Helen) Bratz of Brillion, and Mrs. Dean (Gertrude) Wink of Appleton; three brothers, Arvin of Fond du Lac, Arthur of Morrison, Harold of Reedsville; a sister, Anna Maertz of Reedsville; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
