Dear Nephew

My heart was heavy the day God called you home,
Now I know you are where you belong.

Your memory will always be apart of me,
Everywhere I go, it's you I see.

Things we use to do together and plans that we made,
All now are precious to me- memories never fade.

Love was in your heart, happiness on your face,
Both are now with me, knowing you’re in Gods grace.

Tears I hold back, I try not to cry,
I only wish I would have been able to say good-bye.

Years have came and gone,
Yet it doesn’t feel like it’s been that long.

It seems like only yesterday you were asking me for my car.
But I know in my heart you are happy were you are.

So, I wish, not that you were back here with me,
Only again someday that you, my mom and dad, I'll see.
