Danny Charles Landers was born on June 28, 1957 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, the son of John Landers and Ann (Lane) Landers (1935–2020).

He was a US Navy veteran, on duty from 1975 to 1979. He also served in the Merchant Marines worldwide from 1979 to 1985.

The owner operator of Landers' Backhoe and worked throughout middle Tennessee, he was married about 1982 to Catherine Rose Vaden.

Danny was 56 years old when he passed away on May 6, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville.

Preceded in death by his father, he was survived by his wife, a married son, daughter, his mother, three sisters and two brothers-in-law, a grandson and a granddaughter.

Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
