Vern K. (Ike) Tennant, 74, of Wadestown died Saturday Jan. 9, 1988 at West Virginia University Hospital. He was born Jan. 13, 1913, at Miracle Run, son of the late Cloman and Laura Berdine Tennant.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Broadwater Tennant; one son, Cloman Peter Tennant of Wadestown; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Sammie) Riggs of Grant Town;
four brothers, Kenneth Tennant, Norman Tennant, Melvin Tennant and Jack Tennant; one sister, Leona Miller and four grandchildren.
Three brothers and three sisters are deceased.
He worked for Wheeling Steel for 30 years, formerly worked for the State
Department of Highways and was a veteran of WWII.Burial was at Olive Cemetery.
