Per 1860 census Henderson county, Tennessee, Arthur S. is the 10th child of Charles C. and Charlotte McNatt. He was 5 years old at the time of the census. Further, the census indicates Scotts Hill was the Post Office nearest the McNatt home.

Married: Rebecca Ann Kennedy, Jan. 4, 1883, Hunt County, Texas.

Fathered 7 children: Golda Leona, Elmer DeWitt, Marvin Harrison,Sr., Geneva, Ivan Bue, Guy Haskell, and Milo Finley McNatt.

Dr. McNatt moved his family during 1902 from the Merit community, west of Greenville, Texas to Campbell, Hunt, Texas.

Dr. McNatt was a pioneer physician in Hunt County. From his obituary, "...he was never known to fail his charges, when duty called him to visit the sick." He practiced medicine until his death in 1910.
