Mr. Bueddeman was born to Lester Emil Bueddeman and Vera Willmott Bueddeman Stephen on Jan. 7, 1925, in Danbury, Conn. Although he had minimal education, through hard work and perseverance, he finished his work career as an Associate Director for Dartmouth Dining Association at Dartmouth College. Many students and faculty alike will likely recall his sharp wit and smile. They also may recall Mr. Bueddeman opening up his home to students that were unable to be home with their families during the holidays. He, his wife, his mother and stepfather were further owners of the Massasecum Inn and Casino on Lake Massasecum in Bradford, NH in the late 1940's and early 1950's.

Mr. Bueddeman was a veteran of World War II, fighting in the European Theater under General George Patten in the 101st Army within the Communication Corp. He was a Golden Gloves boxer in Connecticut and boxed while in the Army as well.

Mr. Bueddeman leaves two sons, Stephen S. Bueddeman and his wife, Margaret of Raleigh, N.C. along with Gregory A. Bueddeman Sr. and his wife, Maureen of Bow, NH. He further leaves three grandchildren, Lori, Jennifer and Gregory Jr. along with several great-grandchildren including, Josef, Ethan, Chelsea, Andrew, Emilie and Madison.
