Kathleen Adams died at the age of 75. She was the daughter of Bessie (Nickerson) Mescall and Philip Mescall. She was one of 8 siblings and she had 9 of her own children. Kathleen was a retired store manager for the Homemakers Thrift Shop in Branford, Conneticut. She belonged to the Trinity Episcopal Church in Branford, Conneticut and a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her brother, Philip Mescall Jr. and a sister, Donna Johnston. She is survived by: Six daughters, Sandra Schieffer of Prospect, Conneticut, Susanne Sachs of East Haven, Conneticut, Kathleen Ciociola of Vermont, Cynthia Janega of Virginia. Lynn Dumke of Fontana, California, and Nanci Errante of Branford, Conneticut. Also three sons, John S. Adams Jr. of Baltic, Conneticut, Philip Adams of Wolcott, Conneticut, and Thomas Adams of Upland, Conneticut. Also four sisters, Patricia Kelly, Betty Lumsden, Anita Harvey, and Thelma McMahan and a brother Malcolm Mescall. Plus 23 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
