She was born on Jan. 1, 1920, in Sheboygan, Wis., to the late Edward A. and Lucina (Croisetierre) Poisson. On Nov. 30, 1946, she married Jerome C. "Jerry" Kotchi at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on Nov. 7, 1998. Julitta resided in Two Rivers for most of her life, a short time in Green Bay, and for the past five years in Avon, Ind. She worked for several different companies, but worked the longest period of time as a sewing machine operator at the Bernard Company in Two Rivers. She also did
volunteer work for St. Mark's Church for more than 10 years.
Survivors include three daughters and ons-in-law, Sherrie Ann and Eric Firkowski of Houston, Texas, Jeanne and Ronald Shimanek of Danville, Ind.,
and Rosanne and Ed Sitmann of Vancouvar, Wash.; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one sister: Clair McPherson.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3218 Tannery Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Thomas, with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. Friday morning.
There will be no Thursday evening visitation.
