Suggested edit: Betty Ann Lytle, of Willcox and formerly of Lordsburg, N.M., died Oct. 6, 2012 in Willcox at the age of 88. She was born in Ft. Wayne, Ind. on Nov. 18, 1923 to Orvis and Edna Irene (Powers) Breedlove.

Betty was a retired retail clerk and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors include her children James Briggs and Janie (Manuel) Placencia, both of Willcox, and step-children Larry Lytle of Deming, N.M. and Sharon Lytle (Lee) Harris of Tucson; along with 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother Phillip Breedlove of Muncie, Ind.; and sisters Rebecca Briggs of Willcox and Barbara Campbell of North Carolina. Preceding her in death was her husband Bill Lytle, her son Steven Briggs and step-daughter Beth Lytle.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, Oct. 12 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lordsburg, N.M., at 11 a.m. (New Mexico Time) / 10 a.m. (Arizona Time). Online condolences may be extended to the family at www.westlawnchapelmortuary.com
