Mrs. Hettie Lou Burnett Fields, 91 of Dallas, died Thursday, May 8, 2014 in Mineola. Mrs. Fields was born Wednesday, December 20, 1922, in Wood County Texas to the late, Robert C. and Martha Jane Burnett.
Mrs. Fields was a longtime retail associate and worked for Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. She was a member of the Edwin J. Kiest chapter of the Eastern Star # 959 and a member of the Daughters of the Nile Shalman Temple #90
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elliott Roy Field on October 14, 1995; and by three sisters, Almo Wilder, Morene Chrietzburg and Iwana Carney.
Survivors include her sister, Jimmie D. Carter of Mineola; brother, Nimon Burnett of Longview and numerous nieces and nephews.
