By 1910 she was working as a servant for a family in Seattle, WA. It is unknown how she was drawn there, but it may have been through the influence of her older sister, Anna, and husband who lived for sometime in the Pacific Northwest.
Flo married Francis Henry Beaulieu in Denver, Colorado in 1912. He was also a native of Kansas, and they had just one daughter, Frances, born in 1914 in Idaho. The family moved to Glenn County, CA before 1918, and later to Santa Monica, CA where Flo and Frank spent the rest of their lives.
Flo was a housekeeper for several wealthy families in the LA area for many years. She was quite fascinated by Hollywood and its many movie stars stars, and by carefully saving her money she was able to purchase a niche in the Great Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Glendale where many of them are also innurred.
