She was the daughter of the late David Davies Myers of Philadelphia, Abington, and Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her Mother Patricia Gay Myers, her loving husband Richard L. Sandy, her two children, Ryan and Stephanie, and her sister Linda. She passed away from an illness on December 22, 2000 at the age of 41 years, 11 months, and 8 days. She was a daughter of a WWII Navy veteran, the 2nd Great Grand Niece of 2 Pennsylvania Volunteers in the Civil War, one of whom was Killed at the Battle of Gettysburg, the 3rd Great Grand Niece of 2 New Jersey Volunteers in the Civil War, and 6th Great Granddaughter of an American Revolutionary War Veteran who was imprisoned by the British.
