Obituary-Memorial services will be held 1 PM Sat. at the Lane Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel for Robert E. Bloom age 74 of Estero, FL. formerly of Mineral Ridge and Warren died April 7, at his home in Florida.

Bob was born March 9, 1929 in Mineral Ridge and was the son of Robert L. and Ruth J. (Jones) Bloom. He retired in 1992 after 35 years with Bolz-Weir Insurance Co. where he had been Vice-President. Bob was a Mineral Ridge High School graduate, had attended Youngstown State and Kent State Universities, had been active in the Ohio Insurance Youth Classic Gold Program for many years, was a 47 year member of the Elks Club, active both in Warren and Bonita Springs, Fl. Lodges, was an avid golfer, enjoyed life and was patriotic as they come. He had served in the 101st Airborne Division during the Korean War from 1950-1952.

Bob is survived by his son Robert Elston and his wife, Nancy Bloom, of Warren and their granddaughter Mikayla Bloom.
The family requests that material contributions by made to Trumbull County Hospice.
