Mother of William Jacobs Came to Topeka 15 Years Ago
Mrs. Gusta D. Jacobs, 78, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter E. Wilson, 1297 High avenue, Friday morning. She was born in Fairfield, Me., and moved to Pawnee county, Neb., with her parents when she was a small child. After her marriage to Dr. Willam Jacobs, they moved to Washington county, where they resided until the came to Topeka about 15 years ago. She was a member of the West Side Christian church, the Eastern Star, Toltec Rite and the Women's Relief Corps.
She is survived by four children, William Jacobs, jr., Mrs. Wilson, and Mrs. E.M. Baker, Topeka; and George O. Jacobs, Lake City, Fla.; four grandchildren, Walter W. Wilson, Chicago, Ill.; Bernard Jacobs, Mulbery, Fla., and Wilma Jacobs and Ernestine Baker, Topeka; and an infant great-granddaughter of Mulberry, Fla.
Funeral services will be at Penwell's chapel Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery.
