Longtime Crivitz resident, Anna Sophie Gerbyshak, 83, died Friday, June 22 at her home on Osmanski Lane, Crivitz, WI. She was born to the late John and Mary (Wasacz) Przewrocki on Dec. 11, 1923, in Birch Creek, MI.

She married Ed Gerbyshak on March 16, 1946 in Birch Creek. He preceded her in death.

The couple moved to Crivitz and owned and operated a dairy farm for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Crivitz and belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary for 53 years.

Survivors include three sons: Ronald and Thomas of Crivitz, WI and Kenneth of Oconto Falls, WI;
11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren;
two sisters, Micheline "Mickey" Perone of Hillside, Ill. and Mary Buyarski;
and a brother, John (Dorothy), both of Menominee, MI.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Antone, Stanley and Joe; a special brother, Vincent Gerbyshak; two sisters: Stella Parker and Bernice Trycinski and a grandchild.

A funeral service was held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Crivitz at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26. Rev. Donald Burkart officiated. Pallbearers were the two oldest sons of each son, Paul, Phil, Thomas, Joseph, Stephen and Stanley Gerbyshak.
