Private graveside services will take place at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake for Mrs. Gladys Pierce, 85, of 717 Thorne St., Ripon. She died Thursday, March 20, 1988, at Americana Health Care Center in Fond du Lc.
She was born March 20, 1902, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Gustave and Nellie Gotschey Holman. She married Frank Pierce in 1936, and he died May 5, 1987.
Mrs. Pierce worked as a nurse's aide in a Fond du Lac area nursing home. She was a member of Our Saviour's United Church of Christ. She lived in Ripon the past eight years.
Survivors include one son, Bernard Osgood of Campbellsport; one stepson, Clarence Pierce of Fond du Lac; here daughters, Virginia Anderson of Ripon and Charlotte Rottman and Betty Bump of Fond du Lac; 27 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established.
