Gloria was the daughter of Thomas (Gaetano) and Angelina (nee Torregrossa) Tortorici. She was born on December 2, 1911.

Her siblings were:

Josephine Tortorici (Jan. 1, 1910-Nov. 4, 2000.
Anthony Tortorici (Nov. 11, 1913-July 11, 1997).

She passed away in July of 1980.
