Elaine Roy, 59, 356 Powell Road, Columbia, KY (the White Oak Community), passed away suddenly at 8:33 a.m., July 2, 2004, at the Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY, after a short illness.
The funeral service will be Monday, July 5, 2004, at 2:00 p.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Richard Lehman and Bro. Tony Stephens the clergy officiating.
She was the daughter of the late Seathy Allen and Gertrude Ann Holt Shepherd of Adair County, KY.
She is survived by the following:•Her husband: Dennis Roy, Columbia, KY
•Two sons: Rodney Lee Perry, Columbia, KY; and Timothy Mark Perry, also of Columbia, KY
•One daughter: Luann Isbell Shephen, Honolulu, Hawaii
•Three brothers: James Shepherd and Gerald Shepherd, both of Columbia; and Allen Shepherd, Idaho
•Four sisters: Agnes Beard, Jamestown, KY, and Louise Harden, Columbia, KY; Audrey Pike, Columbia, KY; and Margaret Griffin, Russell Springs, KY
•Three grandchildren: Adam Lee Perry, Autumn Stephen, and Garrett Stephen
Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, Columbia, KY.
