Janet Louise DeYarman, 78, died Friday, March 28, 2014, at Parkview Home in Wayland.
Born Jan. 21, 1936, in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of Dallas and Wanda Miller. She was married to Ronnie DeYarman. They later divorced.
Mrs. DeYarman was a waitress at the Iris Court and helped farm. She graduated from Olds High School in 1954.
She was a member of the Olds United Church of Christ, the Women's Fellowship and TTT.
Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Miller of Iowa City and Kathy Mulkey of New Mexico; two sons, Doug DeYarman of Urbandale and Randy DeYarman of Cedar Rapids; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters,
Eloise Brooks of Wayland and Connie Frey of San Diego; and three brothers, Royce Miller of Mount Pleasant, Gary Miller of Winfield and Rick Miller of Terre Haute, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Olds United Church of Christ, with the Revs. Carl and Elaine Vass officiating.
Burial will follow at the North Wayne Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
A memorial has been established in her name.
