Gladys was the daughter of William Henry Jackson and Celinda Tabitha Astle.

On June 2, 1912 in Groveton she married William Oliver Davis, son of William Davis and Elsa Tibbetts.

Their children were Henry Oliver, Esther Ray, Thomas A, and William Jackson.

Her husband died in 1936 in NH and in 1940 she was living in a Tourist Home Hotel in Otsego, Michigan. When she died her brother, Albert, was living in Otsego (where he is buried). For several years before her death she was living in the home of Mr & Mrs Howard Richardson Jr in Otsego.

Gladys was survived by her son, Thomas, of Wilkinsburg,PA; two grandchildren; and brother Albert of Otsego, MI.

She was predeceased by her husband in 1936; son William in 1926 at 1 year 7 months of Athrepsia Infantum; daughter Esther at 11 years in 1931 of Influenza; and son Henry in 1939 at 24 years old, who died in the NH State Hospital where he had been for three years.

Gladys died at the William Crispe Hospital in Plainwell, MI.

Son William's death certificate has 1926 as his death date, but his headstone has 1927.

Son Thomas died on July 12, 1990 in Sumner, Washington. I haven't found where he was buried yet.
