A few hours before the widow of her brother was laid to rest, Mrs. Lavina Standley, aged 78 years, widow of Dr. Louis Standley, passed away at 5 o'clock this morning at Plainville, where she had made her home with a widowed daughter, Mrs. Maria Vance. She had been ill for months.
Mrs. Standley's sister-in-law, Mrs. Matilda J. Faith, widow of Thomas W. Faith was buried at Tolbert's Chapel in Bogard township following services from the home of her son in this city at 10:30 o'clock this morning.
Besides her daughter, Mrs. Vance, Mrs. Standley is survived by four sons, Claude, Lyman, James and Oscar and a sister, Mrs. Laura Arterburn of Bicknell. She will be buried Friday but the funeral arrangements have not been definitely made.
