Daniel F. Baugniet, age 88, of 2904 41st St., Two Rivers, died Saturday evening, July 17, 2004 at the Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Holy Redeemer Site in Two Rivers, with the Rev. William O?Brien officiating, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Daniel was born Jan. 18, 1916 in Mishicot, to the late Archie and Julia Yana Baugniet. He attended St. Luke's Parochial School, and was a graduate of Washington High School. He then attended the Manitowoc Business College for one year. He served in the United States Army during World War II, and married the former Evelyn Maigatter on July 23, 1938 in Two Rivers. Dan was employed as an inspector for Wood Plant Division of Hamilton Industries for many years.

He is survived by his wife: Evelyn; one son: Glen Baugniet of Green Bay; three daughters: Marian Sides of Grayslake, Ill., Gail Baugniet of Hawaii, Wendy (Edgardo) Nebrija of Saudi Arabia; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and by one sister, Lucille (Frank) Kostka of Two Rivers. He was also preceded in death by one son Robert, and a brother, Orin.

Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels in Two Rivers. There will be a 7:30 p.m. prayer service Tuesday evening at the funeral home, led by Father Bill.
