(1805 - 1865)
Fatal Accident. - We regret to state that Mr. Patrick Driscoll, an old and respected citizen of Cooperstown, met with a sudden death on the 4th inst., as follows: While loading oats in the field, the horses started a little, and he fell between them and the wagon. The horses getting scared, commenced kicking, and Mr. Driscoll received such severe wounds that he lived but a few hours. He was an upright man, and eaves a family and many relatives and friends to deplore his sudden and melancholy death.
