Pella Janus, age 90, of 1906 Jackson St. Two Rivers, entered into eternal rest on Tues. evening April 23, 2013, at the Aurora Medical Center of Two Rivers, after a brief illness.

Pella was born August 10, 1922, in Poland and has been a longtime Two Rivers resident. She married Bruno Janus and he preceded her in death in May of 1979. Pella was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Two Rivers.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Daniel and Diane Janus, of Fond du Lac, one daughter and son-in-law: Mary and Robert Chalupny, of Mishicot, five grandchildren: David (Laura) Janus, Scott Chalupny and his special friend, Sara Walt, Mike (Heidi) Chalupny, Jeffrey (Angela) Chalupny, Brian (Amanda) Chalupny, six great-grandchildren: Ian Janus, Hunter and Landon Chalupny, Grayson, Bennett, and Addilyn Chalupny, and by one sister.

In addition to her parents and her husband she was also preceded in death by one grandaughter, one sister, and her special friend: Chester Pietrzak who died March 20, 2013.

Private family funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Two Rivers, with the Reverend Richard Mauthe officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial was in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Two Rivers.

Pella's family would like to express a very special thank you to the Aurora Medical Center, and to the Aurora VNA Hospice for the special care given to her during her brief illness. Your kindness will always be remembered.

The Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home of Mishicot assisted the family with funeral arrangements.
