In failing health for many years, Mrs. Marie Peserik, 85, a resident of Two Rivers for more than 60 years, died at the Enders Nursing Home at Glenbeulah, Sheboygan County, Friday where she had been a patient for several years.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers, the Rt. Rev. Msgr. C. V. Hugo officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Peserik, nee Marie Sousek, was born in Bohemia in 1867, a daughter of the late Wenzel and Catherine Flomment Sousek. When she was a young woman the family brought her to Two Rivers where 46 years ago she was married to Wenzel Peserik. He preceded her in death 17 years ago.
Mrs. Peserik leaves one son, Edward of Milwaukee; five step-sons, George of Two Rivers, Wenzel of Manitowoc, Emil of Milwaukee, Vincent of Two Rivers, and Anton Peserik of Rt. 5, Manitowoc; a grandchild and 9 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Klein & Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, from 2 p.m. Sunday until the time of services. The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 7:45 p.m. Sunday.
