ASHTABULA — Lucille F. Noce, age 95, of Ashtabula, Ohio, died on Sunday evening, May 18, 2014, at her home. Born Lucia Francesca Altomare in Ashtabula on Oct. 4, 1918, she was the daughter of Pietro and Luisa (Grimaldi) Altomare. Lucille graduated from Ashtabula High School, Class of 1936, and was married to Raymond Noce in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Ashtabula. Mrs. Noce worked at Murry's Bakery, Jupiter's, Hills Department Store and retired from Lakeway Restaurant where she worked as a cashier and hostess for her niece, Gerri, and was known as "Aunt Lu" to all her customers. Lucille was also very dedicated to her family. Her enjoyments included her family, cooking for them specializing on homemade ravioli and wedding soup. The family spent many holidays at her house. She also had a devotion to the Blessed Mother saying the Rosary everyday.
Survivors include her daughters, Corrine (Sandy) Carpenter of Florida, Judy (Rich) Enricco-Stabile of Akron and Raylene Brugman of Ashtabula; grandchildren, Mary Alexander, Frank Spano, John Enricco, Raymond Enricco and Andrew Enricco; and great-grand-children, Frankie, Anthony, Leovanni, Morison, R.J. and Ali. She is also survived by ex-sons-in-law, John Enricco and Frank Spano.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 45 years, Raymond Noce; sisters, Susie Carano, Carmel Capitena, Etalia Giannell and Margaret Lamm; and brothers, Peter and John Altomare. Funeral Service will be 12 p.m., Noon, on Thursday, May 22nd, at GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 West 19th St., Ashtabula, with burial to follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
