Dorothy (Dot) Ann Bell Hardy of Marietta, Georgia, born January 11, 1937, passed away May 20, 2014. Services were held in the Chapel of West Cobb Funeral Home with Reverend Dean Hunter officiating. Interment was at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
Dot was a member of E-W Church and a past member of Bolton Baptist Church. She graduated from West Fulton High School in 1955. She retired from Kroger as a Demo Clerk and had been a substitute teacher for Cobb County.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years Samuel (Sam) Hardy; son Samuel "Bo" D. Hardy Jr. and his wife Anne; precious grandchildren Caleb Andrew Hardy and Moriah Sarai Hardy; sisters Jean (Buddy) Stephens of Alto, GA and Annel Martin of Marietta and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents R. S. and Gladys Bell; sister Freida Webster and nephew Tony Webster.
