Born in Kaplan, Louisiana, on May 15, 1921, she was the daughter of Romuald LeLeux and Alix (Hollier) LeLeux.
Elvie was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Community. She worked at North's Drugstore as a fountain worker for 11 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Elvie loved her Cajun culture and was an excellent cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband Adolphe Dubois, and her daughter Mary Alice Dubois.
She is survived by her daughters, Norma Franklin and husband, Wayne and Theresa O'Quinn and husband, David; sons, Harvey Damian Dubois and wife, Lola, Michael Dubois and wife, Sheila and Ed Dubois and wife, Jo Beth; thirteen grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
